CHICAGO (STMW) – Two men were wounded during a drive-by shooting in the South Side Morgan Park neighborhood Wednesday night.

The men were standing outside in the 11100 block of South Racine Avenue at about 9 p.m. when shots were fired from a passing dark-colored van, police said.

A 25-year-old man was in serious condition after being shot in the chest. A 30-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the back and was in “stable” condition. Both were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.

No one is in custody and Area South detectives are investigating.
