Forte Lashes Out At Bears On Twitter
(WSCR) Apparently, Matt Forte isn't too happy with the Bears.
The Bears announced Thursday they have signed running back Michael Bush to a four-year deal worth a reported $7 million in guaranteed money.
After the signing, Forte, who is still without a long-term contract and is under the franchise tag, tweeted out the following: "There's only so many times a man that has done everything he's been asked to do can be disrespected! Guess the GOOD GUYS do finish last...."
Shortly after Forte sent out the tweet, his agent, Adisa Bakari, released the following statement: "To sign yet another running back, prior to completing a contract with Matt suggests disregard for Matt and his contribution to the Bears."
