Semi-Truck Flips, Shuts Down I-65
CROWN POINT, Ind. (CBS) -- An overturned semi-trailer truck shut down Interstate 65 in Northwest Indiana early Friday.
As the morning rush began Friday, the overturned semi blocked all lanes of the expressway south of U.S. 231.
CBS 2's Derrick Young reported that flares were placed on the roadway, and traffic was being diverted off the expressway at U.S. 231, as of 6:30 a.m.
A three-mile backup was reported.
