Sunshine And Seasonal Temperatures Prevail, But Rain Coming Overnight

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Season-appropriate temperatures in the low 50s will prevail Thursday, but the sun will remain out all day.

But the same cannot be said for Friday.

As of 11:20 a.m., the temperature was only 47 degrees at O'Hare International Airport, and 46 degrees at Midway, CBS 2 Meteorologist Megan Glaros reported. The high is only expected to reach 51 degrees, but the high clouds will not obscure the sunshine over the area.

But overnight, rain will sweep into the area from the west, and showers are expected during the morning commute. Glaros warns that the roads could be wet in some spots Friday morning.

The high for Friday is 57, Saturday 58, Sunday up to 67, Monday 68, Tuesday back down to 57, and Wednesday 56.
