Thibodeau Earns Coach Of The Month Honor
(CBS) Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau was named NBA Eastern Conference Coach of the Month Monday for games played in March.
Thibodeau was joined joined by the San Antonio Spurs' Gregg Popovich, who was named Western Conference Coach of the Month.
The Bulls went 13-3 in March, including 6-0 on the road. Thibodeau earned his 100th career win March 19 at Orlando -- in just his 131st career game -- becoming the fastest coach in NBA history to reach that milestone.
