Two Police Officers Injured In South Side Crash

CHICAGO (STMW) – Two Chicago Police officers were injured Wednesday evening when their squad car collided with a vehicle in the South Side Hamilton Park neighborhood.

The two-vehicle crash occurred at 6:18 p.m. in the 7000 block of South Normal Avenue, police News Affairs Officer Daniel O’Brien said.

The two officers were taken in good condition to Little Company of Mary Hospital and Health Care Center in Evergreen Park. The occupants of the other vehicle refused medical treatment.

Additional details were not immediately available.
