(WSCR) When the NFL unveiled its new line of jersey from Nike on Tuesday, Brian Urlacher had one thought.

“Julius is going to get 50 sacks next year,” Urlacher told NFL Network on Tuesday.

The new jerseys are lighter and tighter, which will make it difficult for offensive lineman to hold a rushing defensive end or linebacker.

Obviously, Urlacher’s comment was made in jest, but there is a sliver of truth to what the team captain said, as Peppers is held on nearly every play from scrimmage.

As shown below, the new jerseys are tighter and have less area for opposing teams to hold players.
