Teen Shot During Robbery In Lawndale
CHICAGO (STMW) -- An 18-year-old man was shot during a robbery Friday night in the West Side Lawndale neighborhood.
Two males approached and demanded money from the 18-year-old man who was walking in the 1100 block of South Francisco Avenue about 11:30 p.m., police said.
He then heard several shots and suffered a gunshot wound to the right foot. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition.
No one was in custody early Saturday.
Area North detectives are investigating.
