Maywood Man Shot Multiple Times Dies
MAYWOOD, Ill. (STMW) -- A man who was shot four blocks away from his west suburban Maywood home died early Sunday.
Timothy Steel, 23, of the 1800 block of South 13th Avenue, was pronounced dead at 1:14 a.m. at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
Steel was shot multiple times at 2028 S. 12th Ave., according to the medical examiner's office.
The address is four blocks away from his home.
Maywood Police declined to comment on the shooting Sunday morning.
