Man Shot Dead In Portage Park Alley

CHICAGO (CBS) — Police are investigating a deadly shooting in the Portage Park neighborhood overnight.

The shooting happened around 12:53 a.m. Monday in an alley behind the 4900 block of West Grace Street, police said.

Officers found the 27-year-old man’s body with a gunshot wound to the head.

The man, Nevin Baluso, who lived on the block, was dead on the scene, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.

No one was in custody as of later Monday morning.

    no one dares make the comparison of the rise in violence to the rise of non white population in what was a majoirty white part of the city. As the white population decreases the violence increases. compare that to ALL major cities.
