CHICAGO (STMW)–A woman was hospitalized in critical condition after a vehicle crashed into a beauty salon Thursday evening on the West Side.
The vehicle crashed into the beauty salon in the 800 block of North Kedize Avenue about 4:25 p.m., said police News Affairs Officer Darryl Baety, citing preliminary condition.
A woman, about 50 years old, was taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, according to police. Fire Media Affairs spokesman Will Knight said the victim was in serious to critical condition.
It was not immediately known if the woman was inside the vehicle or the beauty salon.
Police remained on the scene investigating Thursday night.
