Video: Child Runs On Field During White Sox Game; Caught By Viciedo
(WSCR) Usually, running onto the field during a game is the job of some drunken fan trying to win a bet.
Today, the culprit was much different.
During the seventh inning of the White Sox's matchup against the Orioles, a young boy ran onto the field during play. The child, who appeared to be 5 or 6 years old, was able to evade security guards for a short period of time until he was caught and picked up by White Sox left fielder Dayan Viciedo.
