MOKENA, Ill. (CBS) — Police caught a man from south suburban Mokena walking around with no pants on twice in one day this week.

On Monday, a Joliet father taking his young child to a restroom in Mokena’s Main Park found Gerard Corbett, 38, leaving the restroom naked from the waist down. Corbett was wearing a long white shirt and carrying his pants in his hands, police said.

Police eventually found Corbett about 150 yards away from the restroom. By that time, he was completely naked, and his clothes were scattered around the park, police said.

The officers took Corbett into custody.

Corbett, 38, of Mokena, told police he had been drinking beer and tequila in downtown Mokena and did not know how he ended up in the park in the 10900 block of LaPorte Road.

He was charged with disorderly conduct and released on bond Monday night.

But the arrest apparently was not enough to deter Corbett from walking around with no pants on again.

Just 40 minutes after he was released from custody, neighbors called police after spotting Corbett in the 12000 block of Kent Trail in Mokena. He was walking down the street naked from the waist down, once again carrying his pants instead of wearing them, police said.

A responding officer warned Corbett about violating his bond, but did not take him back into custody. Instead, the officer drove Corbett home and escorted him inside.
