2 Men, Woman Shot In Belmont-Cragin

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Police in the Belmont-Cragin neighborhood are search for suspects in a triple shooting.

The shooting happened in the 2300 block of North Lorel Avenue – between Fullerton and Belden avenues – around 9:30 p.m. Thursday.

Two men and a woman were wounded.

Paramedics took the woman, 29, and a man to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in serious condition, officials said. The woman had been shot in the leg, and the man, whose age was not known, was shot in the back, according to police.

The third victim, whose age was also unknown, was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg, police said. He was reported in fair condition.

Area North detectives are investigating the shooting.
