Electrical Outage Affects 900 In Uptown

CHICAGO (STMW) - About 900 ComEd customers in the North Side Uptown neighborhood are without electricity Wednesday night because of a downed wire.

The areas affected by the electrical outage include the 4500 block of North Broadway and the 5100 block of North Clark Street, ComEd spokeswoman Martha Swaney said.

ComEd was notified at 7 p.m. that a wire was down on nearby Ashland Avenue, Swaney said.

Crews remain on the scene Wednesday night.
