CHICAGO (STMW) — A man was shot several times during a drive-by attack early Sunday in the West Side Lawndale neighborhood.
The 26-year-old mas was standing on a corner in the 2900 block of West Polk Street about 12:15 a.m. when someone in a passing vehicle shot him several times, police said.
He was shot in both legs, the abdomen area, and a finger, police said. He was initially taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition, according to dispatch reports, but police said his condition had stabilized as of early Sunday.
