Bears Agree To Terms With 4th Round Pick Rodriguez

(CBS) Rookie tight end Evan Rodriguez became the second draft pick to sign with the Bears Tuesday, agreeing to terms on a four-year contract.

The Bears drafted Rodriguez in the fourth round with the 111th overall selection. The tight end out of Temple was a two-time first-team All-MAC selection in college, starting 28 of 37 games in three seasons at the school. Rodriguez finished his career with 69 receptions for 871 yards and seven touchdowns.

Earlier Tuesday, seventh-round pick Greg McCoy agreed to terms with the Bears. Last week, wide receiver Alshon Jeffery, who the Bears selected in the second round, officially signed with the team.
