(WSCR) The careers of Luther and Crandall Head at Illinois will be remembered quite differently.

Luther will forever be remember as an integral pieces to the puzzle that brought the Illini to the National Championship game in 2005. Crandall, however, will most likely be forgotten.

After one and a half seasons with the Illini, Head announced on Twitter that he’ll follow former assistant coach Jerrance Howard to SMU.

Head averaged just 9.2 minutes of play before leaving Illinois, averaging just one point per game.
