CHICAGO (STMW) – A man was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head early Sunday in the Northwest Side Humboldt Park neighborhood.
Police responded to a call of a person shot at 12:14 a.m. and found the man in the 1600 block of North Mozart Street.
Joshua Gonzalez, who was in his 20s, of the 2000 block of North Whipple Street, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
The shooting appears to be gang-related, police said.
No one is in custody and Area North detectives are investigating.
