White Sox Keep Regular Lineup Against Tigers’ Smyly

(CBS) The White Sox have struggled against lefties this season, but that won’t stop manager Robin Ventura from using his regular lineup against Tigers left-handed pitcher Drew Smyly Monday night at U.S. Cellular Field.

The White Sox are just 2-7 against left-handed starters this season and are batting a putrid .196.

Smyly has the best ERA (1.59) in the American League through six starts, a daunting fact for the White Sox, which only managed to score one run in its last two games against the Royals over the weekend.

Here is tonight’s lineup as John Danks takes the mound for the White Sox:

1. Alejandro De Aza – CF

2. Gordon Beckham – 2B

3. Adam Dunn – DH

4. Paul Konerko – 1B

5. Alex Rios – RF

6. A.J. Pierzynski – C

7. Alexei Ramirez – SS

8. Dayan Viciedo – LF

9. Brent Morel – 3B
