(CBS) Bulls guard C.J. Watson played hurt for most of the season so it doesn’t really come as surprise that he already had surgery.
The Chicago Tribune reports Watson underwent a procedure on both feet Thursday morning to relieve the the plantar fasciitis he played through this season.
“It was hard,” Watson told the newspaper about playing through it. “I couldn’t do all the things that I’m usually capable of doing. But I knew with Derrick (Rose) out, I had to give the team what I could.”
This is the second straight offseason Watson has had work done on his feet to address the issue.
