1 Dead, 2 Injured In South Side Crash
CHICAGO (STMW) - One person is dead and two others were injured when a vehicle struck a pole in the South Side Jeffrey Manor neighborhood Saturday morning.
One person was killed in the accident that occurred about 8:30 a.m. in the 9500 block of South Paxton Avenue, police News Affairs Officer Laura Kubiak said.
Two others were also injured, according to Fire Media Affairs. One person was taken in critical condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn. Another was taken in serious condition to Advocate Trinity Hospital.
The police Major Accidents Investigations Unit are investigating.
