Bears Sign DT Nate Collins
(CBS) The Bears announced Wednesday they have signed DT Nate Collins to one-year deal.
Collins played in 12 games for Jaguars during the 2011 season. A product of the University of Virginia, Collins signed with the Giants in 2010 as an undrafted free agent.
The 6-foot-2, 296-pound 24 year old has recorded 10 tackles, a 0.5 sack, a fumble recovery and a pass deflected in 13 games with the Jaguars.
