Johnny Knox Not Sure He'll Play In 2012

By Adam Hoge-

HALAS HALL (CBS) A noticeably thinner Johnny Knox was on the field at Wednesday's OTA, but he wasn't doing much more than retrieving balls and aiding the execution of practice.

Knox is slowly progressing from the fractured vertebrae he suffered last December and the wide receiver said it's possible he will miss the entire 2012 season.

"There's really no timetable," he said. "We're all taking our time on this. I'm taking my time. Just focusing on rehabing right now."

A big part of his rehab is building muscle back up in the weight room. After being immobilized for over two months after surgery, Knox lost over 30 pounds.

Other than the weight room, his rehab continues to progress very slowly.

"Nothing heavy right now. Just keeping things light. Just trying to get some muscle memory back," he said.

Knox also said he still hasn't the seen the video of his brutal back injury suffered against the Seahawks last season.
