Two Critically Hurt In Marquette Park Shooting

CHICAGO (STMW) – Two people were critically wounded in a shooting in the Southwest Side Marquette Park neighborhood Wednesday night.

The shooting happened about 9:15 p.m. near 65th Street and California Avenue, Fire Media Affairs spokeswoman Meg Ahlheim said.

Two people were taken in critical but “stable” condition to area hospitals, one to Advocate Christ Medical Center and one to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital, she said.

Their ages or genders were not yet known.
