Man Brings Bottle Of Urine, Heater To Cheat Drug Test: Police

WOODSTOCK, Ill. (STMW) -- A northwest suburban man is facing a felony charge for trying to smuggle a bottle of urine into a testing facility to cheat on a drug screening, according to police.

Aaron Wahl, 24, of the 4400 block of East Drive in Wonder Lake, was arrested Wednesday at McHenry County Court Services for trying to defraud the drug and alcohol test, according to the McHenry County Sheriff's office.

Workers at the screening center in the McHenry County Government Center called the sheriff's office after a plastic bottle filled with urine and containing an attached heating element was found, a release from the sheriff's office said.

Wahl was charged with defrauding a drug and alcohol screening test, a Class 4 felony, and was ordered held on a $10,000 bond, the release said. He is scheduled to appear in court on May 29.
