MONTGOMERY, Ill. (STMW) -- A 9-year-old boy died Sunday after rescue divers pulled him from a west suburban Montgomery lake after spending about 30 minutes looking for the child, officials said.

Rescue divers responded to the report of a missing 9-year-old boy last seen in the water at Jericho Lake about 6 p.m., the release said.
