(CBS) Paul Konerko was named American League Player of the Week Tuesday, marking the second time this season he has received the honor.

Konerko hit .583 (14-24) with four doubles, three home runs and 10 RBI in six games last week.

This marks the White Sox’s third weekly honor this season. Philip Humber was named AL ¬≠Player of the Week after throwing the 21st perfect game in major-league history on April 21 at Seattle.

The last White Sox player to win multiple weekly honors in a season was Magglio Ordonez in 2002.
