CHICAGO (CBS) — With the heat wave and Chicago pool closures residents can find shelter from the weather for free this week at the Shedd Aquarium.

The aquarium is giving Illinois residents free general admission through Friday as a part of its Illinois Residents Discount Days program.

The aquarium is also extending its hours through Wednesday, moving closing time from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
