(WSCR) He’s not crazy, he’s actually on a mission.

By now, we’ve all seen the weird, squawking man who interrupted Webb Simpson’s U.S. Open trophy ceremony by jumping in front of the camera and making some type of bird call. Well, TMZ sat down with the bird man, who refers to himself only as Jungle Bird.

Jungle Bird explained that he’s on a mission to raise awareness about global deforestation, explaining, “I want people thinking about saving trees.”

The U.S. Open ultimately decided not to press charges, yet Jungle Bird has vowed that his interrupting bird calls aren’t finish.

Jungle Bird will strike again.
