(WSCR) Not only are the White Sox out-performing most of the expectations set for them in 2012, they’re also getting a much bigger “bang” for their buck than in 2011.

According to Forbes Magazine, the White Sox ranked as the fourth best-spending team in baseball, behind the Orioles, Mets and Pirates, and ahead of the Nationals.

Forbes credits the White Sox’s ranking from cutting their player payroll by $30.9 million, while reducing many of the team’s large salaries, helping the club stretch their dollars further.
