Cold Front Brings Relief From Heat, T-Storm Warning

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Most of the Chicago area has finally caught a break from the extreme heat, and the cold front is bringing much-needed rain for many parts of Chicagoland.
There is a severe thunderstorm warning in effect for the Chicago area until 11 p.m. tonight.
Shortly before 9 p.m., it was a comfortable 79 degrees at both O'Hare and Midway airports, and 77 at the lakefront.
A large storm front was moving across the city, suburbs, southern Wisconsin, and northwestern Indiana late Wednesday night.
A second round of storms could hit around 2 a.m. Thursday.
The forecast high for Thursday is 85, Friday 87, Saturday 89, Sunday 90, Monday 91 and Tuesday 89.
