(WSCR) Ozzie Guillen may be sporting a different uniform now, but the mouthy manager is still talking.

During a media session before Wednesday’s Cubs-Marlins game, Guillen said that 670 The Score program director Mitch Rosen can thank him for having a job, because, according to the skipper, when Guillen talks, people in the media make money. It’s important to note that Guillen’s comments were made in jest.

“(The media) should thank me, because when I talk, they send their kids to school, college, because they keep talking about it,” Guillen said. “They should say, ‘Thank you, Ozzie. You’re a (lifesaver) because if you weren’t here, I wouldn’t have a job.’ Ask Mitch.”
