DETROIT (CBS) – Following Saturday afternoon’s game at Detroit, the Chicago White Sox optioned right-handed pitcher Dylan Axelrod to Class AAA Charlotte.
Axelrod, 26, is 1-2 with a 5.63 ERA over 10 games with Chicago this season. He is one of 12 rookies to appear on the White Sox 25-man roster this season.
