Woman Fatally Shot, Man Injured In Attempted Suicide In Westchester
WESTCHESTER, Ill. (STMW) -- A 29-year-old woman was killed and a man was injured in an accompanying attempted suicide in Westchester Sunday morning.
The woman, whose name Westchester police would not immediately disclose Sunday morning, was the victim of a homicide, police said. The suspect is a 31-year-old man, injured in an attempted suicide.
The Cook County Medical Examiner's office confirmed that they have been notified of a shooting death in the west suburb, but a spokesman for the office could not provide any additional information Sunday morning.
