White Sox Promote 2009 Top Draft Pick Mitchell To Triple-A

(WSCR) The White Sox on Tuesdays promoted their 2009 first-round draft pick, outfielder Jared Mitchell, to Triple-A Charlotte.

The 23-year-old Mitchell hit a Southern League-high 12 triples for Double-A Birmingham. He batted .240 with 10 home runs and 54 RBIs for the Barons.
