CHICAGO (STMW) - A 26-year-old man was shot multiple times throughout the head and body while he was "tagging" a garage early Saturday in the West Side South Lawndale neighborhood.

The shooting occurred at 3:35 a.m. in the 2800 block of West 22nd Place, police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said.

The man was tagging a garage at that location when someone shot him, police News Affairs Officer Laura Kubiak said. The victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the head and body and was taken in critical condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.
