Video: Cubs Fan Misses Her Boyfriend's Scoreboard Proposal
(WSCR) Though scoreboard proposals are typically tacky and awkward, this one was pretty funny.
During Monday night's Cubs-Pirates game, one fan shelled out big bucks to have "Erica, will you marry me?" spelled out across the scoreboard at Wrigley Field.
The only problem with this was that Erica wasn't in her seat when the message was displayed for the sellout crowd to see.
Luckily, Erica eventually made her way back to her seat where her boyfriend was waiting on one knee.
