CHICAGO (CBS) — Two people were injured overnight in when a car and a motorcycle crashed just a couple of blocks from Wrigley Field.

The crash happened around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday at Addison Street and Magnolia Avenue, in Lakeview. Police say a Mercedes Benz was making a left turn when it was hit by the motorcycle.

A man and woman on the motorcycle were slightly injured.

A woman who lives nearby says the intersection is prone to accidents, and needs a stop sign.

“We constantly take our life in our own hands, because the cars do not stop here,” she said.

The woman says she saw the accident, and the people on the motorbike were not wearing helmets.
