Danks' Surgery A Success
(WSCR) John Danks' tumultuous season was met with a sliver of good news Monday afternoon when the White Sox announced the veteran left-hander had undergone successful shoulder surgery.
Danks had surgery to arthroscopically repair a capsular tear and minor debridements of the rotator cuff and biceps in his left shoulder.
The surgery, which revealed a normal labrum, will leave Danks immobilized in a sling for four weeks. The club expects him to be ready for spring training in 2013.
