(WSCR) We’ve all heard the song before, Neil Diamond’s Sweet Caroline, and we’ve probably all belted out the lyrics at one time or another.

But that won’t be the case for Penn State football fans as they embark on their first full season in the wake of the Jerry Sandusky child sex-abuse scandal.

The school announced it will no longer play Sweet Caroline at home football games because of concerns centered around the lyrics: “touching you, touching me.”
