White Sox Reactivate De Aza From DL

DETROIT (CBS) -- The White Sox have reinstated center fielder Alejandro De Aza from the disabled list, following a brief rehab assignment with Charlotte.

De Aza had been on the disabled list since Aug. 21 (retroactive to Aug. 18) due to bruised ribs. He played four games with the Charlotte Knights during a rehab assignment, going 5-for-16 (.313) with one homer and two runs batted in.

De Aza is hitting .281 with five triples, six home runs, 44 RBI, 73 runs scored, and 21 stolen bases for the Sox this year.

The White Sox are in Detroit Sunday, hoping to salvage the final game of a three-game series against the Tigers.
