When Red Sox minor leaguer Jason Repko tried to rob a grand slam for Triple-A Pawtucket, every outfielder’s worst nightmare came true.
Instead of successfully making the catch and firing the ball back to the infield, Repko made the catch and then flipped over the outfield wall.
By rule, Repko made the catch in play, so the out stands, but each runner got to advance one base.
