Finding Good Wine For A Bargain

Everybody wants to have a bargain, and good wine doesn't have to be expensive. This morning (Thursday, Sept. 6), wine expert Ron Breitstein had some ideas for bargains.

• St. Francis White Splash - $9.99
• Louis Jadot Beaujolais-Villages - $9.99
• St. Francis Red Splash - $9.99
• Alta Vista Classic Malbec - $8.99

Tips for finding a good inexpensive wine
• Make sure it is in your comfort zone price-wise
• Positive accolades on shelf talker
• Score of 87 or above from Wine Spectator or Robert Parker
• Wine is on sale, not more than $1 or $2 off regular price
