Man Stabbed In Chest During Argument In Albany Park

CHICAGO (CBS) -- An argument between two men in the Albany Park neighborhood led one of the men to stab the other in the chest early Saturday.

The men – one of them 19 and the other between 40 and 45 – were having an argument in the 3400 block of West Sunnyside Avenue, police said.

Police have not disclosed what the argument was about, or whether they were arguing inside a residence or on the street.

As the argument escalated, the older man stabbed the younger man in the chest, police said.

The younger man was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center with a stab wound to the chest, police said. His condition was not immediately available.
