Bears-Packers Game Sets New Ratings Record For Thursday Night Football

CHICAGO (CBS) -- The NFL Network set a new record for Thursday night football when the Bears took on the Packers, even though it made for some disappointing viewing for Chicagoans.

Dan Masonson of the NFL Network tweeted early Friday that the network set a new record of 6.3 for the game.

The Bears lost the game to the Green Bay Packers 23-11. Jay Cutler threw four interceptions and was sacked seven times.

The NFL Network has been carrying Thursday Night Football since November 2006.
