(CBS) Bears head coach Lovie Smith officially ruled running back Matt Forte out of Sunday’s game against the Rams.
Forte suffered an ankle injury in the Bears’ Week 2 loss at Green Bay and sat out practice this week. He was not expected to play Sunday.
Michael Bush will get the start in Forte’s place with Armando Allen and Kahlil Bell backing him up.
Meanwhile, linebacker Brian Urlacher returned to practice Friday and will play Sunday.
