(CBS) For the first time since spraining his ankle Sept. 13 against the Packers, running back Matt Forte practiced for the Bears.
Reports indicate Forte practiced with out limitations and said he expects to play Monday night against the Cowboys.
“As long as you know how to take care of your body, that’s how you get back on the field,” Forte told the Tribune. “I’ve had ankle injuries before and I know how to work with them. You have to want to get back on the field.”
When asked directly if he would play, Forte said, “yeah.”
