Person Shot By Police After Chase In Austin
CHICAGO (CBS) -- One person has been shot by police, following a foot pursuit in the Austin neighborhood.
An ambulance was called to the 5600 block of West Washington Boulevard, following a shooting a little before 4 p.m., according to Chicago Fire Department spokesman Larry Langford. Details of the condition of the person shot were not immediately available.
Early information from the scene indicates someone was shot by police, following a foot pursuit, an official said.
Police News Affairs and the Independent Police Review Authority had no information as of about 4:10 p.m.
