(CBS) Barring a setback in warmups, Matt Forte is expected to play tonight in Dallas against the Cowboys, according to 670 The Score’s Zach Zaidman.
Forte is battling an ankle injury suffered Week 2 in Green Bay. He missed last week’s game against the Rams.
FOXSports.com’s Jay Glazer first reported that Forte was likely to suit up Monday night.
Zaidman also reports that the status of wide receiver Earl Bennett (wrist) is still uncertain. He was told that reserve receiver Dane Sanzenbacher took more reps in practice this week and will suit up for his first game of the season if Bennett is unable to play.
